Our Story
In April of 2019, Jay Noland was notified by his bank that he and his direct sales company were under investigation by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Mr. Noland's attorney immediately contacted the commission to explain that Jay Noland and his company has an open-book policy and that he (Noland) was willing to help and provide anything they might need in the investigation. The FTC dismissed his offer to cooperate as "not credible." When considering that this offer came from a 30+ year veteran attorney, this statement seemed discriminatory at the least.
Since then, the FTC has defamed his name, humiliated his wife and little boy, by making baseless allegations. They sued Noland, his companies, and two of his partners (Scott Harris and Tommy Sacca) on January 13, 2020. They were not granted their Constitutional right of due process, and an immediate temporary restraining order was enforced, not allowing their company to continue to operate. On top of that, all assets were frozen including their personal assets (this type of bullying leaves victims of the government no practical way to defend themselves). Even the court concluded that the temporary restraining order was unusual and not normal procedure, even for the FTC. This action by the Federal Trade Commission is evidence of the bullying that continues to take place with regulatory agencies. It is what we consider to be an unconstitutional power grab.
Noland, his family, and two of his partners (Scott Harris and Tommy Sacca), have been forced to live with no money (only donations) since January 2020, due to this abusive enforcement action. Additionally, thousands of people who work with their company have suffered tremendously, and they're speaking out.
With so many American lives and rights being trampled on, Jay Noland, his partners (Scott Harris and Tommy Sacca), and many others decided to speak out against this type of injustice... and CivilRightsMoment.com was born. This is a place where you can share your story too, and together, we can stand up against these non-elected, unaccountable bureaucrats who are terrorizing American citizens and businesses.
